Join Our Team!

Our operations will rely hugely on our volunteers. Staff oversee daily operations of the site. As a staff member during non-COVID times, you will be tasked with running overnight shifts (7 pm – 8 am) with two other members about twice a month, or seven times a semester. Specific duties include taking attendance of nightly residents, making dinner for the residents/staff, sharing a meal together, and maintaining general upkeep of the facility, and creating a welcoming environment for our residents.

During virtual semesters, volunteers are tasked with advocacy and fundraising projects to spread the word about Trojan Shelter and student homelessness. We will also have virtual bi-weekly meetings that will cover staff training, advocacy, guest speakers, and bonding events.
